Myvegas Blackjack Loyalty Points

The folks at MyVegas have found a way to create Apps for IOS (Apple) Android and Kindle Mobile Devices that allow us to play MyVegas BlackJack on the road !!!

  1. Myvegas Slots Rewards
  2. Myvegas Loyalty Point Cap
  3. Myvegas Blackjack Loyalty Points Rewards
  4. Myvegas Blackjack Loyalty Points
  5. Loyalty Points Runescape

The Apps play MyVegas BlackJack as a separate game. (Regardless of the Level you’ve reached on your computer version, or on the MyVegas Mobile App… you start MyVegas BlackJack at Level 1.)

But… (and this is REALLY important) …when you link the App to your Facebook account… (which you HAVE to do, to redeem Loyalty Points) …your LP total will update, and track them all together. Please do this RIGHT AWAY… because otherwise, if you have a problem, you will lose your progress, and any points associated with that progress.

The mobile version of myVegas is simplified so you'll basically spend time in 2 areas: Playing actual slots; Going to MyStrip and picking a mission. Missions are usually something like getting a set number of 3x matches or betting max a certain number of times. When you complete a mission you'll generally get like 1000 chips and 50 loyalty points.

The objective of the game is to beat the dealer, by getting a card total that is higher than the dealer’s total, without going over 21 points.

To begin, you are dealt two cards, which is your “hand”. They are dealt face up, so you can see their value.

The value of the cards are counted as follows: Ace = 1 or 11, Face Cards = 10, Number Cards = Face Value. Card suits have no bearing on value.

So, for example: a 10 and a 5 total 15. An Ace and a 6 can be counted as 7 or 17.

Getting a total value of 21 in two cards is BlackJack, and wins automatically, paying out 3 to 2.

The dealer is also dealt two cards, but one is face down.

Once the cards are dealt, you choose whether you would like to “hit” (take another card) or “stand” (refuse any further cards).

If the cards in your hand total a number higher than the dealer’s cards, without going over 21, you win (And double your bet).

If your hand or the dealer’s hand goes over 21 you “Bust”. When you bust, you lose your bet. If the dealer busts, and you do not, you win.

If your hand and the dealer’s hand have the same value, it is a “push”, and you get to keep your wager.

You must choose what you would like to do, first, before the dealer flips his second card over.

  • Dealer MUST take a card if his hand has a total card value of 16 (or lower)
  • Dealer MUST stand on 18 (or higher)
  • Dealer MUST always hit on 17, if his hand includes an Ace (This is called a Soft 17)
  • DOUBLE DOWN – If, once you see your cards, you like what you see, you can DOUBLE DOWN… which means you double your bet, and take only one more card.
  • SPLIT – When your cards are dealt, if they have the same numeric value, you can split them into two separate hands, each hand having the amount of your initial bet, placed on it. Each hand is played independently of the other.
  • INSURANCE – If the dealer has an Ace showing, you will be offered “insurance”, which is a side bet for half the value of your original bet. If you accept insurance, you are betting that the dealer has a card which gives them BlackJack. In that case, you get paid 2 to 1 on the insurance bet, which offsets the loss of your original bet.
  • SINGLE DECK – Played with a single deck of 52 cards.
  • MULTI-DECK – Played with multiple 52 deck cards.
  • PROGRESSIVE – A bonus that is given upon a particular instance of cards coming up. (in MyVegas BlackJack, one such bonus is 4 Aces of the same suit coming up in a single hand.)
  • SEATS – As play progresses, you can play and make bets from one to three seats.
  • BOLD PLAY – Seems to be a “stupidity” bonus. If you bet against your best BlackJack sense, and it pays off, your “Bold Play” bonus meter goes up incrementally.
  • COLLECTIONS – Character Cards (separate from game play) that are collected to achieve and unlock other Game Options, Challenges and BlackJack Rooms.
  • MySTRIP – Challenges (again separate from game play) that earn Bonus Loyalty Points and Chips. Examples of Challenges include ‘Win 35K Chips’, ‘Get dealt 3 BlackJacks’, ‘Win 35 Hands, betting 15K or higher’… and so on.

Good luck!!!

MyVEGAS App Tips

Do you have a trip to Las Vegas planned? Maybe you’d like to go in the future but aren’t sure where to begin. Either way, you’ll want to know about the myVEGAS app and game as soon as possible so that you can start saving up for free Las Vegas rewards.

This guide is an introduction to myVEGAS. It goes through the basics of myVEGAS, how to start playing, and what it is (and isn’t). We want to be the number one source for myVEGAS app tips.

Let’s go!

What is myVEGAS?

MyVEGAS is a FREE app sponsored by MGM Resorts that lets you earn points that can be redeemed for free stuff in Las Vegas and other cities. There are two main myVEGAS apps: slots and blackjack.

Either app earns you rewards but most people choose to play the myVEGAS slots app because it is more hands off and you can earn rewards faster. We will talk about the myVEGAS slots app throughout this guide, but the blackjack terminology is much the same.

There are two main platforms that you can play myVEGAS on:

  1. Mobile (iOS or Android)
  2. Facebook

It’s extremely easy to download and get started with myVEGAS. Before we show you how to install it, there is some basic myVEGAS app tips and terminology you should know first.

myVEGAS Terminology

These are the terms used throughout this guide and our website. It’s important that you understand them because it can be confusing for new players.

Loyalty Points (LP)

Loyalty Points are gold coins that you earn when playing myVEGAS. Loyalty Points are used to redeem free stuff in Las Vegas.

You earn Loyalty Points for simply playing the game. It’s best not to worry how many LP you have until you have greater than 5,000 and can start looking at what rewards to go after.

Chips

Chips are virtual currency used in the game to bet with. They are marked in purple in the myVEGAS app.

The game starts you off with some chips when you first install it. After that, there are 4 ways to get more chips:

  1. Winning lines in each slot game.
  2. Free chip box which can be opened every 2 hours (small amount)
  3. A daily wheel spin (large amount)
  4. Purchasing chips with real money (100% voluntary and not required)

VIP Status

Your VIP Status gives you a bonus in the number of chips you get inside of the chip boxes or daily spins. There are 7 VIP levels in total:

  1. Turquoise
  2. Amethyst
  3. Opal
  4. Emerald
  5. Sapphire
  6. Ruby
  7. Tanzanite

You can get to VIP Status 3 (Opal) just my playing the myVEGAS app daily. It is not possible to get to VIP Status 4 without spending real life money in the game, which is again 100% not necessary.

You increase your VIP Status by earning MVP points.

MVP Points

MVP Points are earned two basic ways:

  1. Daily wheel bonus
  2. Hourly box bonus

You get a few MVP points for connecting your myVEGAS account to Facebook and also when you purchase bundles from the store.

The two basic ways are enough to get you VIP Status 3, which gives you 30% multipliers on your bonuses.

Loyalty

Level

Your level is your virtual status number in the game. There is absolutely no purpose to the level other than the fact that you are awarded bonus chips and loyalty points for reaching the next level.

If there are any other terms you want us to help you with, comment at the bottom of this guide and we will add them here!

  3. Shows
  4. Attractions
  5. Casino

myVEGAS App Tips

Our home page has tons of guides and tutorials on myVEGAS, but there are some basic app tips you should know about when playing myVEGAS:

  1. The best myVEGAS app tip is that more spins equals more loyalty points. Try to only bet 1/100 of your total chip count. This will let you spin more times before you run out of chips and let you earn more LP.
  2. Save up loyalty points and worry about rewards later. By focusing your time on playing, you should be able to earn 50,000 or more loyalty points easily.
  3. Play the special events. These promotions offer greater win rates and special chip bonuses.
  4. Maximize your non premium myVEGAS rewards when you travel to Las Vegas. Non premium rewards require you to pay some money out of your own pocket, but are cheap to redeem in the app.

If you have any more myVEGAS app tips, comment down at the bottom of this guide!

  1. Mandalay Bay (and the Delano)
  2. Park MGM (and the NoMad)
  3. Signature at MGM Grand (Hidden for some)

Rewards at cheaper hotels such as the Luxor and Excalibur don’t cost as much money as ones from the Aria or Bellagio. As long as you have the loyalty points saved up, you can redeem free vouchers at these locations.
